We’ve custom built this Kevlar hoodie from the ground up just for you, and we haven’t held back on the extras.

Firstly, we developed an entire new fit that was tailored to suit the modern day motorcyclist. Say goodbye to the short and ‘boxy’ Kevlar hoodie you’re used to. The Akin Protective Kevlar hoodie has a longer tailored fit, with a bit of extra length in the sleeves to prevent them from riding up when you’re on the bike. We also removed those pesky drawcords on the Kevlar hoodie (who uses them anyway?) to prevent them slapping on the side of your helmet.

 

The outer shell is constructed of premium, heavy weight fleece with a water repellent coating. This coating causes water to bead and run off the fabric instead of soaking through. Neat huh?!

 

This Kevlar hoodie is fully lined with one of the world's strongest aramid fibres which is well known for its superior abrasion resistance and durability. We’ve also used a premium mesh liner for breathability and thrown in a water resistant internal pocket to stash your valuables.

This is our 3rd generation Armored Kevlar hoodie. This version comes with a slick belt loop snap, thumb holes, zippered pockets, and an inner cell phone pocket. Weighing in at only 3.5lbs, this zip up sweater looks and feels just like a normal hoodie! Even with the genuine 220GSM Aramid layer, yes the same material they use in bullet proof vests, spine protector, and CE rated shoulder/elbow armor, the hoodie is not at all bulky or heavy. That means you can be both comfortable and safe while not looking out of place. The hoodie fits on the tight side so we recommend you go up a size. This hoodie is NOT wind-proof so you can wear these even on the hotter days without overheating. Don't give yourself an excuse not to wear gear while riding. With the Dapper Defender Hoodie, you can dress for the ride and the slide.
